American River Bank Foundation Donates $100,000 to Eleven Northern California Non Profit Organizations

Sacramento, CA, January 30, 2014 – American River Bank, a subsidiary of American River Bankshares , today announced that the American River Bank Foundation (the “Foundation”) has awarded $70,000 to nine organizations for a single year funding commitment and, combined with its two three-year funding commitments that were announced last year, the Foundation is donating a total of $100,000 to organizations in Northern California in 2014.  Since 2004, the Foundation has donated $652,600 to 36 different organizations.

“Each year, we challenge ourselves to increase the impact from the American River Bank Foundation and that’s why we’re so pleased to be able to donate $100,000 to eleven different organizations,” said David T. Taber, President and CEO of American River Bank.  “From our employees to our golf tournament sponsors and all of our partners, we are grateful that so many came together to contribute financially to the community through the Foundation.”

In 2013, American River Bank employees donated over $18,000 to the Foundation, 100% of which is matched by the Bank.  Donations received by the Foundation are granted to community organizations as the Foundation is supported in whole by American River Bank, its employees and partners.
