Day 1 At your office you manually prepare the checks for deposit.

You physically transport the deposits to your bank.

Bank employees process the checks

The checks are transported to the branch office. You receive checks from your customers.
You receive checks from your customers.

The check images are printed on secure watermarked paper.

From your office, you send scanned electronic images of the checks to us

The check images are validated and sent electronically to print sites near your customers' banks.
Day 2 The checks are codified, processed, and classified according to Federal Reserve District. Substitute checks are presented to your customers' banks.

Deposits become available in your account.
Day 3 The checks are processed and transported to regional Federal Reserve depositories
Day 4 The checks are captured and cash letters are prepared.
Day 5 The checks are presented to your customers' banks.

Deposits become available in your account.
